Popular Roulette Sheets

The most-used printable roulette sheets on the site, alongside the main variant pages.

1. European Roulette Cheat Sheet

European roulette is the standard reference wheel and the one most cheat sheets are built around. It has 37 pockets: numbers 1 to 36 plus a single zero. The house edge is a flat 2.70% on every bet, which is roughly half of American roulette.

  • 0 Single zero pocket
  • Red and Black are even-money bets
  • Six standard inside bets and five standard outside bets
  • Better baseline game for learning systems and reading payouts

If you only ever use one cheat sheet, use the European one. The numbers translate cleanly to French roulette as well.

2. American Roulette Cheat Sheet

American roulette uses 38 pockets: numbers 1 to 36, a single zero 0 and a double zero 00. The extra pocket pushes the house edge up to 5.26% on almost every bet.

The payouts are the same as European roulette, but the chance of winning each bet is slightly lower because there are now 38 pockets instead of 37. That gap is small in any single spin, but it widens quickly across hundreds of spins.

If you have a choice at the casino or online, the European or French table is almost always the better mathematical pick.

3. French Roulette Cheat Sheet

French roulette uses the same 37-number wheel as European roulette, but the table is labelled in French (Rouge, Noir, Pair, Impair, Manque, Passe) and often offers two special rules that change the math on even-money bets:

  • La Partage: if the ball lands on zero, even-money bets lose only half the stake.
  • En Prison: the even-money bet is held for the next spin instead of being lost.

When either rule is active, the effective house edge on red/black, odd/even and high/low drops to about 1.35%. That is the most player-friendly common roulette rule set you will find.

Roulette Wheel Layouts

The numbers on the wheel are not in the same order as the numbers on the table. The table is laid out in three columns of twelve for easy bet placement. The wheel is arranged so that reds and blacks, evens and odds, and high and low numbers alternate as much as possible.

Wheel order matters for one specific reason: sector bets and neighbours bets. Those bets follow the physical wheel, not the table grid.

The sequence above is the European single-zero wheel, used on both European and French tables.

Roulette Strategy Cheat Sheets

A roulette strategy changes how much you bet and where you bet, but it never changes the underlying odds. The wheel does not remember the last spin, and no betting pattern fixes the house edge.

What strategies actually do:

  • Structure your bet sizing so that wins and losses follow a clear plan.
  • Spread coverage across more numbers for more frequent small wins.
  • Manage bankroll discipline by giving you a stop point.

Roulette Is Gambling

Responsible gambling note: Roulette is a negative expectation game. Cheat sheets and strategy guides help you understand bets, payouts and risk, but no system removes the house edge. Only play with money you can afford to lose, and stop when play stops feeling controlled.

Every cheat sheet on this site is built to give you faster understanding, not a winning formula. Treat roulette as paid entertainment, decide a session budget before you sit down, and stop when that budget is gone or your target is hit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which roulette version has the lowest house edge?
French roulette with La Partage or En Prison gives even-money bets a house edge of about 1.35%. European roulette is a flat 2.70%. American roulette is 5.26%.
What is the easiest bet to understand on a roulette cheat sheet?
The even-money outside bets - red/black, odd/even, high/low. They pay 1:1 and win on close to half of all spins (a bit less because of the zero).
Can a roulette cheat sheet help me win?
It can help you make faster, better-informed bets and avoid common mistakes, but it cannot remove the house edge. Treat it as a study aid, not a winning system.
Should I play American or European roulette?
European, whenever you have the choice. The extra 00 pocket on the American wheel almost doubles the house edge with no change in payouts.
Why is the wheel order different from the table layout?
The wheel order alternates red/black and high/low to distribute outcomes evenly. The table is built for easy chip placement. Sector and neighbours bets follow the wheel, not the table.
